I'm not your savior,
nor am I the best thing that makes it all okay.
You reach for me and make me your desire,
but these dark places in your soul remain.
I may have the ability to remind you of hope and give you reason to believe,
but redemption does not start here.
With the exchanging of your heart with mine,
I will still bring you disappointment and fray around the edges when you don't want me to.
But it is when I do, that you might (or might not) remember to look inward and upward to the Everlasting, the never changing;
cross my fingers that you will.

clothes,
shoes,
beloveds,
friends,
work,
books,
shopping,
soothers,
and etc.

Alamakk.. The above is a personal reminder at this point of my life when trusting God can be easily sidetracked by other things. Family and friends and the occasional shopping are great but i think for me now, it's needing to get back to the core relationship with the Giver.

Hey Jude! I have just read your comments and well wishes and it's still 2007!
Good message today about the importance of people, performing to an audience of One, and supporting those whom God has placed in your care, even if what they want it not what you think is wise!
